Runny noses and coughs are a normal part of childhood, especially once kids are in daycare or school. Most colds run their course in seven to ten days with rest, fluids, and plenty of cuddles.

Signs it may be more than a cold

  • A fever that climbs again after a few days of improvement
  • Ear pain, tugging at the ears, or drainage from the ear
  • A cough that lingers beyond two weeks or causes wheezing
  • Trouble breathing, poor feeding, or unusual fussiness

When symptoms shift from uncomfortable to concerning, a quick visit lets us rule out ear infections, pneumonia, or other issues that benefit from treatment. We are here whenever you need reassurance.
